Good Child New Logo Introduction
Good Shepherd Child Development Center has changed its name to Good Child Development Center and has introduced a new logo. The new identity features a colorful design with different shapes that morph from a purple square into an orange circle.
“The name was changed to Good Child Development Center to appeal to the vast cultures and ethnic groups we serve and to put the focus on what we do… helping to shape and mold that Good Child!”, said Bill Okwuosa, the Executive Director of Good Child Development Center.
“The shapes are also there to help connote the diversity of the people we serve, and how we help produce a well rounded child during the time a child spends with us,” Okwuosa continued.
Mr. Okwuosa joined Good Child in January, 2017and brings to the table over 25 years experience in human services. This was the result of an extensive search from Milford strategic consulting firm VitaLincs LLC. Ed Faruolo, Managing Director of VitaLincs said “we were searching for someone who was strongly mission based, entrepreneurial, and has a strong track record for growing a business. Bill fit that criteria perfectly.”
VitaLincs was also hired to develop the new brand strategy and enlisted the talents of Dale Pavlik, from DJP Design, LLC. The two organizations researched the employee and customer base and realized that Good Child has a very unique set of assets, and that is the people they serve. Good Child serves many populations that are economically, ethnically, and culturally diverse. They found that parents see this as a big advantage since their children will learn early about how to relate to people of various backgrounds. As one parent stated, “the center truly represents the face of America.” Designer Dale Pavlik added, “this insight truly helped me to visually frame the diversity of the organization and the transformation of the child through the various symbols and colors I used.”
The former Good Shepherd Child Development Center was founded in 1969.
Good Child Development Center accepts children from infancy to 5 years of age (pre-school).
