I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Chinyelu Oraedu, M.D. (Dr. Yel’Ora). I am board certified in Internal Medicine. I work as a night doctor in Fairfield county, Connecticut.
I am the Founder of Dr. Yel'Ora, Lifestyle & Obesity Coaching Program. This is a Health & Wellness coaching service specifically targeting Night Shift Workers. Night Shift workers do the harder things by working against their natural circadian rhythm. I want to help them become healthier inside, lose weight and keep the weight off so they can love the way they look outside. Our mission is to ensure the optimal health and wellness of every night shift worker.
Night workers have a higher risk of chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, stroke. I struggled with obesity and diabetes while working nights. I felt unseen and unheard. Every doctor tells you to stop working nights. But do they know your “why’ story? I invested in coaching and my health improved remarkably.
I help Night Shift Workers by providing health education and resources which encourage them to prioritize their health and wellness. We aim to minimize but not eliminate the risks associated with night work. I achieve this by creating a personalized wellness plan which helps them survive and thrive when they work nights.
We offer Personal and Group Coaching, Telemedicine (coming soon) and Night Employee Orientation workshops including Resident doctors. We are looking for opportunities to collaborate with businesses which employ Night Workers such as Healthcare, Transportation, Public Safety, Postal workers,Hospitality to mention a few.
When people work nights, they should never lackluster. I want them to glow and grow. We are ready to serve your companies’ needs. Thank you.
