Please come and join us for drinks and appetizers to hear about local hunger need among our kids, and to be a part of the solution for alleviating hunger in Milford through our Milford Food 2 Kids Program.  As one of Milford's community leaders, we need your help to make sure that Milford's kids don't continue to go hungry.  Milford Food 2 Kids is an initiative of the First United Church of Christ, Milford, in partnership with CT Food Bank, to support our mission to feed local children who have little or no food available to them during the weekends away from school.  This program serves these children over the weekend, at times when the school food services aren't available.  School system social workers select the students that receive food each week on a degree of need basis.  For more information on this event, please call the First UCC of Milford at 203-877-4277 ext 309 or 203-258-8182.  Please RSVP by August 1, 2016 to Michele Steinlauf or Ashley Grant at outreach@firstchurchofmilford.org.
