Memory Matters

A few decades ago, the state of your brain was believed to be out of your control. Conventional wisdom taught that people are born with a certain number of brain cells which die over time and cannot be replaced. Recent years have brought good news. Although the areas of the brain associated with memory shrink with age, you can still add brain cells and build new connections between these cells throughout your life.

Exercising your brain is as significant as exercising your body. Come and learn about why exercising your brain is so important. Dr. Bradford Dickerson, Professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School, says that aerobic exercise leads the list in preserving memory.   Join experts from the VNA Community Healthcare in learning why this is important at this essential talk on May 10 at 2pm at Milford Public Library. 57 New Haven Ave.

Come to this workshop and find out how to maintain brain function. You will certainly learn that memory loss and aging are truly myths! The workshop is free and open to all.
