Make a difference in someone else's life!  The Literacy Center is offering volunteer TUTOR TRAINING classes in English as a Second Language and Basic Literacy this winter.  There is a $20 fee for course materials.  Volunteer tutors will learn techniques to assist students with dialogue, listening comprehension, oral fluency, phonics, reading comprehension and writing skills.  No previous teaching experience is required!  All prospective tutors will be interviewed in advance.  For further information, call The Literacy Center office between the hours of 9am - pm at 203-878-4800.
