work with your local partners including area attractions, events and restaurants, that can help you create

destination themed packages.

Learn the concept of culinary tourism (understanding a region by experiencing its food)

Educate yourself on the importance of being active and having your voice heard as a small business

owner

Learn how to shine a positive light on the Industry (local press, recognition, etc)

Understand industry trends (hiring, technology, restaurant concepts, etc)

Learn how your tourism and cultural business can leverage the marketing programs offered by the CT

Office of Tourism. Representatives will be presenting no-cost marketing programs. The presentation

highlights program areas that will extend your market reach through the following programs including:

CTvisit.com – Approx. 5 million annual visitors, create your listing page with photos, deals, and events.

Social platforms – Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Connecticut Open House Day – June 13, 2020

Educational Opportunities – Tourism Marketing Outreach, Governor’s Conference on Tourism, Strategic

Planning Sessions, Tourism Industry Newsletter.

Centralized Regional Marketing Program – Educate the COT on what’s happening in your community

and business.

Consumer Newsletter – Reaches over 100,000 opt-in subscribers looking for exciting things to do in CT.
