DRIVE-UP FLU
SHOTS AT MILFORD SENIOR CENTER
The Milford
Senior Center, operating under State of
Connecticut Covid-19 and the Milford Health Department guidelines, will be conducting a drive-up Flu Clinic Program, at the front
door of the building, off the parking lot at
9 Jepson Drive, Wednesday, October 21st 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You are required to remain in your car. Please wear a garment
with short sleeves.
The Milford Health Department is again recommending for
those over 65, the high dose influenza vaccine.
A low dose vaccine will also be available.
In order to
receive a flu shot, you must be on Medicare, not Medicare Advantage or a PPO or
HMO plan. Seniors who are on Medicare
Advantage, PPO or a HMO plan can receive their flu shot at their doctor or drug
store. Please call the Benefit Office at
the Center 203 877-5131 extension 2108 by October 15. You
will be able to contact this office October 6, 7, 13 and 15 between the hours
of 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
In order to
receive your flu shot, you must register before October 15th. No one will be able
to sign up for a flu shot on October 21st.
When calling
in to the Center’s Benefit Office, please have your Medicare and supplemental card available.
