City of Milford Celebrates Make Music Day

City of Milford Celebrates Make Music Day
Milford participates in global celebration
of making music on the longest day of the year

Milford joins Make Music Day by filling our streets with music.  We encourage residents to sign up and find a corner to strum, drum or sing on Friday, June 21, 2019. A piano will be placed on the steps of City Hall and we encourage you to pop by and tickle the ivories, bring a bag lunch and enjoy the music in the parkette in front of City Hall. Stay tuned for more locations and follow us on Facebook at @MilfordCityHall for updates. Make Music Day is a one-day event where free, live musical performances, opportunities to make music and other musical events take place around the world on the longest day of the year. Musical festivities in Milford are part of a global celebration of music making in over 750 cities inspired by France’s Fête de la Musique.

Milford invites everyone from professional musicians to people who have never picked up an instrument to join in the global music celebration by signing up here http://www.makemusicday.org/milford/ and choosing your location.  Please contact Julie Nash at jnash@ci.milford.us or call...  More >>
