It’s everywhere you look, listen or smell and has been for
months – the time of year people love, yet somehow dread. Even the most organized among us can feel
the pressure of the growing list of things to do as the holidays approach. Not to mention those potential moments of
discomfort with family, friends or colleagues. Take an evening for yourself and find some quick ways to recharge
yourself when things overwhelm, or when
stress starts to boil. Simple, easy,
exercises that everyone can do will help make this holiday season a time of joy
and peace – the way it’s meant to be!
On November 29 at 7 pm, Connie Goebel, founder of Be
HeartWired, will lead us through a demonstration of Qigong, a 5,000-year-old
Chinese mind-body practice that uses breath and gentle movement to heal and
cultivate “life energy.”
Goebel is a life coach and Qigong instructor who aims to help
people discover the importance of self-care, especially for those who juggle
the needs of everyone else first.
