The Irish Heritage Society of Milford is proud to share the cultural aspects of our Irish heritage and the talents of its people! The Milford Irish Arts Expo is sponsored in part by a grant from Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Emigrant Support Program as well as Beirne Wealth Consulting Services, llc.

Andy Cooney will be there from 6:30 to 8:30 pm!! And Chris Kiley will start the evening off from 5:30 to 6:30 pm!

The Milford Irish Arts Expo will be held on Saturday, April 18th at:
Jonathan Law High School
20 Lansdale Ave, Milford, CT 06460

You can purchase tickets in one of the following three ways through the link below:
1) Admission to the Milford Irish Arts Expo from 10 am to 4 pm —> $10
2) Admission to the Andy Cooney Concert from 5 pm to 9 pm —> $20

Saver's FunDrive to benefit Milford Youth Service Trip

Saver's FunDrive to benefit Milford Youth Service Trip

Donate clothing & household goods on April 25

Community members are invited to donate gently-used clothing and household items at the Senior Pilgrim Fellowship’s second annual FUNDrive, to be held Saturday, April 25 from 9 am – 12 pm at First United Church of Christ parking lot (46 West Main Street, Milford, CT).

The drive’s goal is to raise $2,000 in funds to support the Youth Group’s upcoming mission trip to help Rebuild & Repair homes in Wilmington, NC. Acceptable donations include clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, soft household items, small kitchen appliances, kitchen items, sports equipment and toys (no furniture). 33 Gallon Garbage Bags work well for packing items.

Milford Earth Day 2020 Celebration

To reserve space for your exhibit or activity, please call for application.

Hosting a Booth (table/exhibit) Milford Earth Day 2020 is a great opportunity for outreach, interaction with the community, and raising environmental awareness.  An educational exhibit might, for instance, describe how the Long Island Sound ecosystem benefits human health, economy, and society.  A local civic organization might provide a practical demonstration on composting or other sustainable practice.  Any merchandise or promotional materials distributed should, in some way, contribute to a goal of sustainability.

Registration is free for exhibitors: however we would appreciate a donation to help us cover expenses such as advertising.
Recommended donation is $25 for businesses and $5 for non-profits.

Walnut Beach Association Mohegan Sun Casino Trip

Walnut Beach Association is hosting a bus trip to Mohegan Sun Casino on Saturday, May 16, 2020, to benefit the Walnut Beach Association's community activities/services. Cost is only $40 per person and that includes a $15 food voucher and a $15 gaming voucher! This is really a great deal!
The bus will leave at 3:00 p.m. from the commuter lot at Exit 40 north bound off I-95. We will be leaving the casino at approximately 10:00 p.m. to return to Milford. You must ride on the bus to receive your vouchers. Food & BYOB can be enjoyed on the bus (you are responsible for clean-up) and there will be raffle prizes available as well (cash only for raffles). Note: There will be no refunds for this event (unless event is canceled). Tickets must be purchased no later than April 28th, so reserve your spot ASAP!
