Milford Performance Center Indoor Beach Party

Milford Performance Center Indoor Beach Party

Indoor Beach Party

LIVE In Concert at The Milford Performance Center

June 1st 2019 at 8 PM

MILFORD, CT  - 5.28.19

Welcome to Milford Performance Center’s Kick off to Summer…The Indoor Beach Party featuring the #1 Jimmy Buffet Tribute in the Country! Bring a beachball (no Frisbees), wear your shorts, Tommy Bahamas and almost any beach outfit you like…except Speedos, lol.

Opening the party are The RumRunners one of Connecticut’s most popular cover bands kicking off the party.  The band was formed in August, 1998 by 4 firefighters from New Haven and Milford and the son-in-law and daughter of a retired New Haven firefighter.

Over the last 14 years they've helped to raise money for dozens of charities including The American Lung Association, The Connecticut Burn Camp, The Sunshine Kids Camp, Cystic Fibrosis, Breast Cancer Awareness and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to name just a few. They are most honored to have always been there to support our friends and community by helping to raise money for countless individuals and their families during their time of need. Through the years they have stayed true to their love of good music and their goal to always lend a hand to a worthy cause. Watch a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdvJhkZFoGs

Changes In Latitudes is the country's premier tribute show to the Mayor of Margaritaville, Jimmy Buffett.  This nationally acclaimed band roams the country bringing their dancing conga lines and "Trop Rock" fun to every venue they play.  It's the ultimate beach party that’s good clean fun for all ages.  Over their sixteen-plus year history, the band has travelled from Maine to Barbados, Cape Cod to Chicago.  From the 900-seat Walt Disney Theaters aboard the Disney "Magic" and "Wonder" cruise ships, to the National Hamburger Festival in Akron, OH, in front of 6500 fans looking for their "Cheeseburger In Paradise", they've set attendance records in quite a few locales.

Members of Jimmy Buffett's "Coral Reefer Band" have both performed live and recorded with Changes In Latitudes. Changes In Latitudes has thrilled audiences with their amazingly authentic reproduction of the Jimmy Buffett concert experience.  Steve Kareta mimics Jimmy's casual storyteller style, while these world-class musicians take you on a musical cruise around the sun-drenched tropical islands of the Caribbean.   The group travels with a complete tropical stage set-up that exactly mimics Jimmy's from years past.  You can expect to hear such classics as “Margaritaville”, “Come Monday”, "Cheeseburger In Paradise", "Volcano", and, of course, “Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes”, as well as other crowd pleasing Buffett-show staples like “Brown Eyed Girl”, “Southern Cross”, and the Alan Jackson / Jimmy Buffett hit "It's Five O'clock Somewhere". See video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=4&v=GkuZHg-wVso

Please bring a “Kid Friendly” food item for Food2Kids for the collection Box
