4th Annual Health & Wellness Fair

Wellness Works is pleased to sponsor the 4th Annual Health & Wellness Fair.  This is open to all City/BOE employees and the public to participate in and enjoy!  Over 30+ vendors will be on site to offer valuable information on: Fitness, Nutrition, Health Care, Employee Assistance, Financial Wellness and more.  Free Biometric Screenings, hands-only CPR Training and Chair Massages will be available.  Also, there will be Flu Shots available from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Employees will be allowed 30 minutes of paid time to attend this event.  The Committee encourages everyone to be part of this educational, informative and FUN event!

Spirits of Milford Ghost Walk
Come on a scarily good 90-minute Spirits of Milford Ghost Walk, where you’ll be enthralled and entertained with stories about the distraught Paugusset Indian who, 400 years ago, strangled and killed her two young sons; the three deadly curses cast on Charles Island; why 291-year-old Capt. Stephen Stow has never left his home; the accused Colonial witch buried in Milford Cemetery; and so many more. Blending the macabre with known history, this spirited, lantern-lit walk follows a roughly 1.15-mile loop through downtown Milford, including stops at some of the city's oldest homes and Milford Cemetery. Participants who desire also get the chance to try out paranormal investigation tools like EMF detectors and dowsing rods. Cost for advance tickets is $15 per person. Walk-up ticket price is $18 per person. Children 4 and under are free. Annual Milford Police Auction

Auction begins at 10 a.m., acution attendees will have an opportunity to preview the items being auctioned off that day starting at 9 a.m.  Numerous bicycles of various shapes & sizes and other miscellaneous items will be sold to the highest bidder in "as is" condition.  This year's volunteer auctioneer will be Patricia Francis.  The event is held rain or shine.
