Free Easter Egg Hunt Kindle Fire Grand Prize

The event is capped at 100 participants, so hurry now and preregister by joining our facebook event. You can also choose to register in-person between 9:00AM and 9:45AM, the morning of the event. Some eggs will contain tickets for special prizes, including the grand prize. Our Reverend Kimball Cartwright will do a blessing of the eggs at 9:45. The Easter Bunny may be hopping by as well so bring your cameras.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

The Hospital Auxiliary will host it's Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny for children and their families.  Parents are welcome to bring cameras for photos.  Space is limited and reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Cost is $7 per adult and $5 per child.  Please call to make reservations.

Clothing Drive for Junior Woman's Club of Milford

Clothing Drive to raise funds for JWC of Milford! All items welcome with a preference for clothing, linens, shoes, belts and handbags!! We earn 20 cents a pound for everything collected which all goes back to the Milford community- we donate to local groups like Rape Crisis Center of Milford, Inc., serving Ansonia, Derby, Milford, Orange, Seymour, Shelton and West HavenLiteracy Volunteers of Southern ConnecticutMilford Food 2 Kids,The Get In Touch Foundation Events PageFriends Of Beth-El Center and also things like high school scholarships, helping send residents to camp and so much more!! Clothing donations cost nothing to make but mean a big deal!!

55th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Orange Children

The first hunt for the youngest children steps off at 1 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, a “rain or snow date” has been set for Saturday, April 15th , at High Plains Community Center, with the same schedule of events as on April 8. The Easter Bunny will arrive at 12:30 p.m., one half-hour before the start of the Easter Egg Hunt itself.
There will be face painting for the children, and hot coffee for the adults.
The Easter Egg Hunt is divided into four (4) age groups. This allows each child to have an equal opportunity to collect the thousands of chocolate eggs which the Lions Club will have to distribute.
The four age groups are: (1) Pre School through Kindergarten; (2) First Grade and Second Grade; (3) Third Grade and Fourth Grade; (4) Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade.
Thousands of chocolate eggs will be distributed during the hunt. Prizes will be awarded to children in all age categories for finding specially marked eggs.

"Waterscapes", a marine pop-up show

Milford Art Council and Milford Yacht Club will present "Waterscapes", a Marine themed "Pop Up" exhibit at the Yacht Club.  Artist will submit works with a maritime/marine theme that includes ships, sailing, beach, coastal wildlife or the sea itself.  A reception will take place from 5:30-7:00 pm.  Awards will be announced at 6 pm.

Pantochino Productions April Vacation Theatre

Pantochino’s acclaimed theatre camps are so popular because they’re so much fun! The 5-day camp allows young actors to learn, rehearse and perform an original musical in just five days! This year, our April Vacation Theatre Camp features Trisha Speed Shaskan’s wildly imaginative book, Punk Skunks! The book comes to life in our new musical about two punk rockin’ skunks in a fun-filled tale about friendship, music and more! The camp runs April 10-14 (Monday-Friday 9am to 3pm) under the direction of Bert Bernardi and Justin Rugg. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience for children ages 8 to 13. The camp is held in Pantochino’s studio space in the former Saint Ann school on Ridge Street in Milford. The final performance takes place on stage at the Center for the Arts in Downtown Milford. Tuition is $265. per student ($225. each with sibling

Learn what you can do to better protect your online accounts, devices, and privacy. We will discuss types of threats, encryption schemes, strong and unique passwords, two-factor authentication, Tor/VPNs, and more.
