Lunar New Year Celebration

Join us for our first annual Lunar New Year celebration! Celebrate the Year of the Rat with fun for the whole family including crafts, live performances, face painting, giveaways and more.

Saturday, February 1st from 11am-3pm
Event takes place at Center Court and is completely FREE!

Sponsored by Boscov's, Aiping Tai Chi Center & Connecticut Post Mall

Special performances provided by area organizations including:
•Dragon dance courtesy of the Yale-China Association
•Kung fu demonstrations by Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy
•Tai Chi & Qigong demonstrations by Aiping Tai Chi Center
•Chinese dances by Southern CT Chinese School's children's dance class
•Traditional Chinese instruments & classical dances by Phoenix Performing Arts

Arts and Crafts inside Boscov's, hosted by Chinese Language School of Connecticut
•Chinese calligraphy and painting
•Foam printing
•Ancestors portraits
•Plum blossom art
