Milford Historical Society Tour of Milford Cemetery Oct. 19

Come “Meet the Residents” at the Old Milford Cemetery when the Milford Historical Society sponsors its 8^thannual cemetery tour. Meet on Sat., Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the DAR Chapter House, 55 Prospect St. (Rain date Oct. 26.) Tickets for adults are $5, free for children 12 and younger with a paying adult. You will be greeted by costumed re-enactors beside tombstones who will tell you about the life of the person at that particular grave. In case of rain early in the day, call (203) 877-1851 to ask if the tour is still on or has been postponed until Oct. 26. For more information, go to milfordhistoricalsociety.org.
