Ornaments for the Birds

Connecticut Audubon invites volunteers for festive crafting Sat., Dec. 9, 10:30 a.m. to noon, 1 Milford Point Rd., Milford. Create bird-friendly decorations for the holiday tree at Walnut Beach. We’ll use natural materials to make ornaments to feed our feathered friends. Make one for the Walnut Beach tree and one to take home. Popcorn, pine cones, cranberries, suet, and oranges are on the menu. Free for adults and families; pre-registration necessary. Call 203-878-7440 or visit www.ctaudubon.org/coastal-center.
