This informative and entertaining illustrated lecture
looks at Stephen King’s life and complete body of work, including childhood
writings, unpublished stories, rarities and, of course, the dozens of novels
and hundreds of short stories and movie adaptations that make King America and
the world's most popular writer.
The program is based on Stephen Spignesi’s new book
STEPHEN KING, AMERICAN MASTER, his sixth book about King and his work. A
signed, color, tri-fold brochure is given to all attendees, as well as other
handouts. A Q&A session follows the program.
Stephen Spignesi is a full-time writer and lecturer and
a retired Practitioner in Residence from the University of New Haven, where he
taught Composition and Literature for ten years. He lives in New Haven.
