Walk Milford Challenge

Walk Milford Challenge

Walks with Buddy, Inc. along with the Milford Prevention Council will be hosting the 2nd Annual Walk Milford Challenge on September 8, 2019.  Last year, more than 100 participants had joined the Walk Milford Challenge, covering 40+ walking routes – the second year is shaping up to be EPIC once again!

Starts at 9:00AM!

The Walk Milford Challenge serves a dual purpose:

=         Goal 1: Raise funds for organizations in our community that help with mental illness & suicide prevention; and establish a fund to help those without insurance be able to receive mental health care.

=         Goal 2:  Have the ENTIRE City of Milford walked simultaneously in 2 hours or less. Other than last year’s attempt, this feat has not been done anywhere. The town of Milford has a lot to offer our participants with its extensive coastlines, Downtown, the Harbor, and Silver Sands State Park. This event will cover the entire city - from shoreline to downtown to the wooded areas north of the Post Road.

When:
Sunday, September 8, 2019 9:00 AM thru 12:00 PM
Where:
Throughout the city!
