                                                                        Cold and Flu Treatment Options

            Thursday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. there will be a discussion on natural cold and flu treatment options at the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive.  Fourth Year Naturopathic Student Mosstafa Tahini,  Clinician at the University of Bridgeport, will discuss food and lifestyle techniques to support one’s immune system as well as review herbal and nutritional supplements that can be used during the cold and flu season. 203 877-5131 for details.

                                                                        Movie Matinee

            The Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive will be closed Monday, January 21^st in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

            An interactive presentation on how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping will take place at the Milford Senior Center Tuesday, January 22^nd at 1:00 p.m.  The program will explain calming methods to your mind and body by Joann Dunsing, Milford Hypnotist .                 Milford Arts performs These Shining Lives, a play based on the book, February 1 – 17.  

                At the January book discussion, members of the cast will be performing a scene from the play.  Plus, those who attend the book discussion will get a discount on a ticket to the play on opening weekend.  If that’s not enough, there will be a cast talk-back after the performances on Friday and Sunday afternoon!
