Stories about Christmas ghosts and Milford history will come
together for nine special Christmas Spirits of Milford Ghost Walks at 7 p.m.
Dec. 8, 9, 15, 22, 23, 29 and 30, as well as Jan. 5 and 6. Guided by
a flickering lantern light, walkers will follow Milford writer and storyteller
Cindy Wolfe Boynton on a roughly 1.5-mile route that starts at the World War
I monument in front of Milford City Hall on River Street and ends at
Milford Cemetery. The Christmas bride who died on her wedding night, the young
girl found dead with tinsel in her hair, and the ghost of a carol-singer who
appears just once a year will be among the spooky stories told. Advance
tickets, purchased online, are $18 and recommended, as space on each walk is
strictly limited. Walk-up tickets are $23 each, with exact cash required.
Children 4 and under are free. The walk is appropriate for all ages. For more

Sunday, January 14th, Saint Mary Boy Scout Troop 721 and Cub Scout Pack
721 will be holding their Monthly Bottle & Can Collection Fundraiser.
Please bring your redeemable bottles and cans to the parking lot behind Saint
Mary Church at 70 Gulf St, Milford CT, between 7:30 AM and 1:45 PM. If
you have been saving your redeemables in your garage, basement, back porch, or
backyard from your parties, this is the perfect time to do some cleaning and get
rid of these. This monthly fundraiser
provides the funds needed to support our programs. We sincerely appreciate those of you who
consistently donate every month and we welcome new comers to bring their
redeemable Bottles and Cans to support our program. If you are interested in
our Scouting Program, stop by the fundraiser and we'd be happy to speak with
