Presents Emily Haviland Baker - Friday, April 14, 2017Live @ the Mac is proud to
present Emily Haviland Baker a fiddler, singer and songwriter from the
Greater-Boston area. Emily is currently
a student at the Berklee College of Music, where she is she is studying with
famous performers like Darol Anger, Bruce Molsky, Matt Glaser, Joe Walsh, Dr.
David Wallace, Dave Hollander, Tony Trischka, Jason Anick, and Casey Driessen.
Emily has performed at an
array of different venues, ranging from halls such as New England
Conservatory's Jordan Hall and Boston's infamous Symphony Hall, to venues like
the Cantab Lounge & Club Passim in Cambridge, MA, and The Red Room in
Boston, as well as Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Joe Val Bluegrass Festival,
Fresh Grass Festival, & Newport Folk Festival. She performed at the Newport
Folk Festival 2016, backing up Margo Price & Aoife O'Donovan.
The
concert is at the Milford Center for the Arts, 40 Railroad Avenue, Milford,
CT. Tickets for the Emily Haviland Baker,
Live @ the Mac show are $15.00 and $10 for MAC members. Student tickets are
available for $5 with valid student ID. The
show takes place on Friday, April 14.
Doors open at 7:30PM and the show starts at 8PM. Come and enjoy an intimate performance in a
friendly environment. Snacks, beer and
wine will be available for a nominal charge.
