E. Donald Elliott, Yale Law School professor since 1981, semi-retired environmental lawyer, and First Church member will present on Presidential Claims of Power to:

• Dismiss “officers” of the U.S. (e.g. fire head of Coast Guard/Inspector Generals) 
• Offer buy-outs to government employees who do not want to return to the office 
• Not spend (“impound”) appropriated monies (e.g. US AID) 
• Abolish/move departments or agencies (e.g. US AID) 
• Appoint “special government employees” to audit government spending and make recommendations (e.g. DOGE) 
• Offer to buy and/or invade other countries (e.g. Greenland, Gaza)
