Child trafficking and
exploitation is not only a crime that happens in other parts of the world—it
happens in America, and it happens in our own state!
Elm City Abolitionists (ECA) is
a group of concerned local citizens from the Greater New Haven area whose
mission is to combat child trafficking and exploitation in the state of CT
through increased community awareness and advocacy for survivors
and those at risk. ECA serves as a volunteer team for “Love 146”, a national
organization working toward the abolition of child trafficking and exploitation
in the US and around the world through prevention and aftercare solutions.

for a showing of the 2011 documentary “Sex and Money: A National Search for
Human Worth” about the shocking reality of domestic minor sex trafficking in
the US and the rising movement of advocates fighting to abolish it, followed by
a Q&A session and panel discussion with special guests:
